Cracker-Crusted Mac 'n' Cheese
Ingredients:
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup crushed buttery crackers e

- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:
Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente
Drain and set aside
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter
Stir in the flour to create a roux
Cook for 2-3 minutes until it turns a light golden color
Gradually whisk in the milk, salt, and black pepper, continuing to cook and whisk until the mixture thickens and becomes smooth, about 5 minutes
Reduce heat to low, add the shredded cheddar cheese, and stir until it's fully melted and the sauce is creamy
Combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce and mix well
Transfer the mac 'n' cheese mixture to an air fryer-safe dish coated with cooking spray
In a separate bowl, mix the crushed buttery crackers and grated Parmesan cheese
Sprinkle this cracker mixture evenly over the mac 'n' cheese in the dish
Preheat your air fryer to 350F 175C
Place the dish with the mac 'n' cheese in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes or until the cracker crust is golden brown and crispy
Remove from the air fryer, let it cool for a few minutes, and serve hot
